Frequently Asked Questions
Is this actual vintage glassware or vintage style glassware?
▼
This collection features vintage style glassware rather than antique or pre owned pieces. The designs are inspired by classic glassware shapes and decorative patterns, giving them a traditional look while still being suitable for modern use. Check the individual product page for details about the material, design and care.
What is the difference between champagne saucers, flutes and cocktail glasses?
▼
The main difference is the shape and the type of drink each glass is designed for. Champagne saucers have a wider, shallower bowl, flutes are taller and narrower, while cocktail glasses are shaped for mixed drinks. If you are buying for a particular serve or occasion, check the individual product description for the intended use and capacity.
Are the glasses sold individually or as a set?
▼
The pieces in this collection are sold in different quantities depending on the design. Some come in pairs, while others are available as sets of four or six, and some carafes are paired with a matching glass. Check the product title and individual product details for the exact quantity included before ordering.
Can vintage style crystal glassware go in the dishwasher?
▼
Care requirements can vary between different crystal designs and decorative patterns. Some pieces may be suitable for the dishwasher, while others may be better hand washed to help protect their clarity, shape and detailing. Always check the Materials & Care information on the individual product page before cleaning.
Will vintage style glassware work with more modern tableware?
▼
Yes. Vintage style glassware can sit comfortably alongside contemporary plates, cutlery and serving pieces, especially when the shapes and patterns are kept considered rather than overly matched. If you are mixing styles, look at the colour, proportions and decorative details of the glassware to see how they will work with what you already own.
