The Marumitsu pottery is made in Seto, Aichi, Japan, a place which is home to the kilns with the longest production history in Japan

• This 'Poivre' or 'pepper' shaker is part of a series of seasoning containers with French wording. The pepper shaker complements the Cheminée Salt Shaker as its short and stocky counterpart, and is made by applying a thin later of white glaze over red clay
